Tadabbur ("the app") is a personal Quran reflection journal. Your privacy matters deeply to us. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is protected.
Your reflections stay with you
All journal entries, reflections, gratitude notes, streaks, and badges are stored locally on your device. We do not upload, read, or store your reflections on our servers.
Backups you control
If you enable backup, your journal data is saved to your own cloud storage account (such as Google Drive or iCloud), under your control. We never have access to it, and you can turn backups off at any time in Settings.
Account sign-in
If you sign in with Google, we receive only basic account information (your name, email address, and profile picture) to identify your account. Authentication is handled securely by Google and Firebase Authentication. We do not sell or share this information.
Purchases & subscriptions
Subscriptions are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store together with RevenueCat, our subscription management provider. We never see or store your payment card details. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier and purchase status to unlock premium features. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app schedules gentle reminders locally on your device. No notification content leaves your phone.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data to anyone.
- We do not show third-party advertising.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
- We do not collect analytics on the content of your reflections.
Children
The app is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual entries inside the app at any time. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device. Backups stored in your own cloud account can be deleted by you directly. To delete your sign-in account data, contact us using the details below.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date shown above.
